Kris DenBesten currently serves as president/CEO of Vermeer Southeast, a construction equipment company with 14 locations covering Florida, Georgia, Alabama, The Caribbean Islands, and Central America. Under his leadership the company has grown from annual sales of $6 million to nearly $100 million. Beyond his corporate responsibilities Kris is a board member of The Jobs Partnership Florida, a ministry for the under- and unemployed which teaches God’s principles for work and then helps graduates find jobs that provide hope and a future. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando where he has recently served as president of trustees, senior pastor search team, and currently serves on the personnel team.
He attended the University of Arkansas on a golf scholarship earning a degree in broadcast communications. With early experience as a television sportscaster, Kris is a down –to- earth, from-the-heart communicator who effectively connects with all audiences. Kris shares his message of hope and Christ’s empowerment speaking at corporate events, churches, ministry organizations, in prisons, and through media.
Kris is the founder of Real Life Resources, a ministry centered on transforming life and work. His first book SHINE: 5 Empowering Principles for a Rewarding Life has recently been released and the SHINE Participants Guide is being used in large and small group studies, in church and workplace settings, and in ministry to the poor and imprisoned. Kris is passionate about seeing God’s presence inspire and empower others to lead
wholly faith integrated lives of worship and real life ministry. He and his wife, Robin, live in Windermere, Florida, with their three children: Cole, Gracyn, and Brooks. |
